Greg Norman, Former Mr. Rhode Island, Signs Treaty and Becomes Goodwill Ambassador

Creation/Copyright by Greg Norman
“Mr. John J. Kennedy with Ambassador Greg Norman”

One of Rhode Island's favorite sons, Greg devotes his time and energy toward helping to empower the lives of people through his numerous radio shows, personal coaching, and of course, through example. As a professional body builder Greg won the coveted title of Mr. Rhode Island, and has earned top placements in numerous Eastern national competitions. Throughout his career he has trained with celebrities such as Mr. America, Tony Pearson, the world famous barbarian brothers Peter and David Paul, and many others. He is a former strength and conditioning coach for the University of Rhode Island and has trained over 1,000 clients including professional football and hockey athletes, and Sarah DeCosta, a gold medalist for the Olympic women's hockey team. Through his University coaching he was grateful to play an important role in the success of Rhode Island's own Kevin Smith with The Pittsburgh Steelers. Many people say, "Greg's unique fitness training style has earned him the credits of being one of the most sought after Weight Training Coaches in RI." Known for his gentle style and integrity, Greg has been involved in radio for the past 10 years as a talk show host and producer of over 1000 radio shows. During this time he has, and continues to receive national attention and accolades from some of the top names in the entertainment industry.
